Iphone Shuffle: Rocking it Old School!

I haven't done an Iphone shuffle post in awhile. Today on my way to work I heard a great one. It was off the Jurassic Park soundtrack. Specifically it was number 04 "Journey to the Island".

"Jurassic Park is a 1993 (OMG 15 YEARS AGO!!) science fiction thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg and based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. The film centers on the fictional island of Isla Nublar, where scientists have created an amusement park of cloned dinosaurs. John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) invites a group of scientists, played by Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern, to inspect the park prior to its public opening. Sabotage sets the dinosaurs loose, and the technicians and visitors attempt to escape the island."

This music is from the scene where Dr. Alan Grant and his party see the dinosaurs for the first time. The wonder and awe is really captured. We have all seen the movie and it's sequels a bunch of times (15 YEARS AGO?!?) But if you can remember the 1st time you saw this great movie, this music just might bring you back to the wonder of it all!

Iphone Shuffle - Miranda Lambert - Gunpowder & Lead

Here's a great tune I heard today from Miranda Lambert. She's a tough cookie. Whatever you do, don't break this girl's heart!!

November 10, 1983, Lindale, Texas)[1] is an American country music artist who gained fame as a finalist on the 2003 season of Nashville Star, where she finished in third place and later signed to Epic Records.[2] Lambert made her debut with the release of "Me and Charlie Talking", the first single from her 2005 debut album Kerosene. IPhone Shuffle - Alan Jackson - Drive (For Daddy Gene)

Here's a great song from country super-star Alan Jackson.

I was never a county music fan. Then I met my wife. She grew up on country and I quickly found out, not only was the music good, I liked it. Alot.

Alan Jackson can do no wrong in my book. His songs go much deeper than the normal 'good ol boy' songs. This song is such an example. This song is special to me. It always takes me back to memories of my Father and his teachings to me about driving and endless other life lessons.
