Planet 51

I saw this trailer yesterday. It looks cute. But we'll have to wait until November 20, 2009 to see it.

Planet 51 is a galactic sized animated alien adventure comedy revolving around American astronaut Captain Charles “Chuck” Baker, who lands on Planet 51 thinking he’s the first person to step foot on it. Not Recommended for Small Children

That seems to sum it up nicely. Happy Tree Friends is a flash cartoon that has a cult like following on the internet. It has very cute little critters who get into the most violent situations you could think of. The Wikipedia website describes it very well when it says:

"As indicated on the official site, it is "not recommended for small children". Notwithstanding the somewhat childish shape of the series and the cute appearance of its characters, the show is extremely violent, with nearly every episode featuring blood, gore and extremely painful, bloody and gruesome deaths."

It's like when you pass an accident on the highway, you just have to slow down to watch. Maybe it's because the characters are soooo cute and the blood & guts soooo grizzy that makes it popular. Not sure. All I know is that I do keep coming back week after week to see the same little critters get hacked up. Not sure it that's good or bad. I'll have to think about it!

This is a great song. If you have seen the movie "Cars" you will know this song. It's the song played during the opening racing scene. I have the soundtrack to this movie and it has several songs that I really enjoy.

Not sure why, but this song seems to be connected to my gas pedal. :)

US Airways Plane taken apart

Also when the plane was taken apart and shipped to a warehouse, my parents friends were there to see the plane make the journey through town. Here are some of the pictures.

US Airways Hudson Crash

I currently live in South NJ. Close to Philadelphia. However, I grew up in northern NJ. Closer to NYC. My parents still have lots of friends in the area. When the US Airways Plane crashed into the Hudson River last month, one of my parents friends was a Captain of one of the Ferries that helped with the rescue.
